Welcome to Storehouse Lake Angling Association

About Us:

Storehouse Lake Angling Association has been around for over 50 years. It was initially set up to give local people a low-cost alternative to the traditional boating establishments in and around Langstone Harbour. This is something that is still maintained and held true to this day. Located at the north end of Langstone Harbour, we are an angling association whose members are mad about fishing and boats for fishing. The core aim of the association is to promote sea fishing in all Its guises, including boat, shore, and pier fishing in the Solent and Langstone waters.

Langstone Harbour mill pond

Having moved to its present location in 1993, it’s members successfully played an integral part, helping to keep the only North Langstone Harbour slipway from falling into private ownership. This remains a valued public amenity to this day which our members have full access to launch and retrieve their boats and dinghies. The yard whilst basic, meets the needs of its present members. It can currently accommodate about 50 trailered boats up to 25ft but can site some slightly larger, and about 10 trailered dinghies and tenders.

Time to go digging

As Storehouse Lake Angling Association has been around for a long time, Its members come with a wealth of fishing and boating experience. With the help of our valued older members, the associations younger members, become mature accomplished anglers ready to continue the fishing interest and sport.
